Shirer joined the long term care/estate planning profession in 1972, and holds the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). He conducts seminars on long term care and estate planning at Ag-Credit, Farm Credit Service, and OSU Extension Offices throughout the state of Ohio. His seminars help individuals, family farms, and small businesses protect their assets from liquidation in the event of a long term care claim or death of the estate owner.
